Your chance to visit one of Irelands most beautiful National Parks. Guided by your driver, this tour begins at your accommodation. Your guide will transport you northwards into the heart of Donegal and the magnificent Glenveagh Castle and Gardens. Here you will have time to explore and enjoy the jewel in the crown of Donegal. Explore the wonderful gardens and enjoy a tour of the Castle, built in 1869 and where you will learn about the history of those who owner and resided in the castle.
Take a leisurely coffee or lunch break in the castle tearooms.
Your guide will then transport you west through the Derryveagh Mountains. Stop at the 'Bridge of Tears' before passing through the famous ‘Poison Glen’, passing Mount Errigal, Donegal’s highest mountain, then onwards through the Irish speaking, Donegal Gaeltacht. Stop in the quiet town of Glenties, 5 times winner of Ireland’s Tidiest Town, before returning to your accommodation.
This tour is conducted by a qualified tour guide. With a pick-up at your accommodation. (Arranged in advance).
